3D scanning

Turn physical objects into precise digital models. Fifty-micron structured-light capture, professional mesh repair and CAD-ready files.

Scanner-grade detail captured on a freshly printed part

Measure what calipers cannot

Organic curves, freeform sculpting, worn legacy parts with no drawings — some geometry can only be captured, not measured. Our structured-light scanners record up to fifty-micron detail, including undercuts and textures.

Raw scans are cleaned, watertight-sealed and converted into the format you need: a directly printable mesh, or fully parametric CAD you can edit dimension by dimension.

From object to editable file

  • Structured-light scanning at up to 50-micron accuracy, in-studio or on-site.
  • Mesh repair — holes filled, noise removed, watertight and printable.
  • Reverse engineering into parametric STEP files with nominal dimensions.
  • Deviation reports comparing scan against CAD where it matters.
  • Direct reprint — we can print the replica the same week.

Scanning questions

Anything from a ring to a car bumper. Very shiny, transparent or black surfaces may need a temporary matte coating, which we apply and remove safely.

Your choice. A cleaned mesh is enough for direct reprinting; reverse engineering adds parametric STEP files you can modify in any CAD package.

Yes — this is our most common scan job. We capture the original, rebuild the failed features stronger, and print a part that outlasts the first one.

Within the Austin metro area for objects that cannot travel. Larger installations can be captured on-site anywhere in Texas by arrangement.

Scan captured? Print it.
